Your Drunk Neighbor, Donald Trump

boob walk!

The first time I did the boob walk was in 2008 - all by myself in the city of new york!

It was crazy fun to walk all over four of the five boroughs. Training was so easy and fun because all I did was walk back then. I used to walk home from NYU to Brooklyn at least three times a week and then go on these crazy day long walks on the weekend.

The second time was way more fun because I did the walk in Santa Barbara with my sisters! I trained much more haphazardly, but I used to walk every day. I had this dumb job at UCLA and I used to walk every day for an hour at lunch. The walk itself was gorgeous. Santa Barbara is freaking beautiful.

I'm doing it again in September with my sisters and I'm so excited! I can't walk home from work here, but I can walk during lunch and when I get home. I've already raised almost half the money and that's only through putting it on Facebook. I'm looking forward to it.

This here blog

So, I've been writing this here blog since 2004. I have over 3000 posts!

In any case, over the years I've identified a handful of people who I want to read my blog but that I just know won't ever go to there on the internet. Like my sister, Sunny. She loves me, I love her. Best to email the blog directly to her way, though.

Sometimes, it's a firewall issue. My pal Dave can't go online at work (or whatever.)

Obviously, Husband is one of the ten because you know. Work.

So, over the years, I have added people to the "email blog" part of this blog. You can only send it to 10 email addresses.  In a lot of ways, it must seem like I'm emailing those 10 people every day. And I love that!

Welp, the email thing isn't working right now. I'm hoping it comes back soon but for now, I hope those people miss me enough to surf the web because until then they are missing pictures of Josie eating and my haiku.

So, that's what that test was yesterday. My ten people, they didn't get it.

9 months

Squishy Josie turned 9 months old yesterday! I chose to use this picture because it shows her standing up holding on to the table, her favorite thing to do.

She also really, really enjoys eating everything you put in front of her. She crawls super fast all over the house. She says "dada" (I guess) and she's also said "sissy" once before. Otherwise she really likes to babble and for some reason gets vociferous around 2:30 in the morning.

She'll wave for the nanny and also clap but has yet to show me these tricks.

She loves to play with toys and follows her sissy everywhere she goes, unless she's following me. She can play in Buddy's room for a long time and Buddy "babysits" her.

She takes two naps a day, goes to bed at 8pm wakes up about twice a night, and is up for the day around 6:30, though she has a cold and is teething so she's more unpredictable.

She is crazy easy to take care of. She's gentle and calm and loves to stare at people while she tries to figure them out. She doesn't smile as easily as Buddy did, but she always, always smiles at her sister and no one makes her laugh more.

She's also the prettiest baby I've ever seen. Not biased one bit. ha!

Doesn't this tree look like a dinosaur?

Yesterday was a success, peeps. The event was pretty close to flawless and there were hundreds of people there.

Also the other two meetings went great!

5 things, super fast

  1. 425 people are signed up tonight's event.
  2. Pumping can be a challenge when you have lots of meetings and an event all on a campus that has only one lactation room to be shared by however many people might need it.
  3. When Babe is out of town I sleep with both kids in my bed and I love it so much.
  4. What the actual Eff with this country and Trump? We really are the worst.
  5.  Why don't you share something for number 5? What's going on in those heads of yours?

Yesterday, Today, Tomorrow

Yesterday

  • Typical Monday, a staff meeting, a lot of work to do. Me and Buddy made home made pizza for dinner and we hung out and played with the Baby. Babe had no traffic and was home way before me. I went to bed so early.
Today
  • Babe left for San Diego in the Early Dark Hours and won't be back until tomorrow. We got up early and played and did all the things to get ready for the day, including making breakfasts and lunches, getting tiny people dressed. Playing. Meetings at work and prep for my gigantic event tomorrow. Tonight will be taking care of the younguns probably eating mac n cheese for dinner and certainly going to bed early.
Tomorrow
  • I have a meeting with the Dean, a board meeting, and my big event tomorrow night. And that is why I am here telling you about it. Nothing motivates me more to do things like blog, clean out my email, work on my lists than having one big thing right after another.
