A couple of weeks ago (days? I don't know), I was walking with Buddy home from the park. We saw a pigeon sitting in the middle of the road, just sitting there. I think he had been hit by a car (maybe? I don't know.)
In any event, clearly he couldn't fly. At least four cars stopped, waiting for him (her? I don't know) to move, then went around the bird.
This lady was walking towards us and after we passed her she stood and watched the bird. Then, she walked into the middle of the street, picked up the bird and walked it back to the sidewalk, where she set it.
Because no one loves the throwback photo more than Joseph, here is a collection of the most random and disjointed photos I could find in ten minutes at my desk. Let me tell you, I have 1,000 pictures at home and very few here. That is your disclaimer. With that, I give you the Happy Birthday Joseph Miscellaneous Photograph Collection:
Cod, BFF, & Mary Friedrich at homecoming in 1994. Tip your forty.
We did a lot this weekend! Went to San Diego, had a beeday party for the nav, had a family party for mother's day at my sister's house, I even saw GUS on Friday night and got my nails done on Saturday! We went to the beach, too. As is sometimes the case on very busy and very fun weekends, I have very few pictures to share.
These two pics pretty much sum up all the happiness in my weekend though.
Buddy and the O-Man watching a show.
Let me know if you need a rescue because you died from the cute.
Beautiful day here. Babe and I are going to the Yankee game later this evening. I'm pretty excited. I don't think there is much better than sitting outside watching baseball. Buddy is going to go to our house with her favorite of the daycare ladies so it's a win win.
Just another Wednesday, really. A few meetings here a there, another beautiful day.
Was a little bit harsh in it's Monday-ness. What a rude awakening.
Hey, I just realized I forgot to acknowledge Cindog's birthday here on this blog. Happy beeday, Cindita. Here's a photo:
Looks like I don't have a whole lot of photos of Cin saved on my computer, but I always like an excuse to go to this file. This is from San Diego, 2007.
