Pros & Cons

  • More job opportunities for Mama.
  • Easier transition from NYC ---> BAY.
  • Public transportation.
  • If Babe gets a job with his hold firm it will mean mas job security.
  • Pals like, but not limited to: the Lys, Oi, G&D, Petey M., others.
  • Fictional Tahoe House.
  • Not close enough to familials.
  • Crowded and expensive, not unlike NYC in a lot of ways.
  • Tiny drive to see family. Like two hours.
  • Totally unchartered territory - a new place to live.
  • Cheaper living, if not only because we won't need a 3rd bedroom or 2nd bathroom for family to stay.
  • Closer to BFF, Santiago, etc. etc.
  • Backyard.
  • Not the same level of connections/jobs for either one of us.
  • Traffic/no idea what the living is like.
Either ways? Looks like a win win. Also? A working list done in three minutes. Feel free to add.

L.A. really is no bueno when it comes to public transport. Traffic will suck the life out of you. I believe it was one of the top reasons I fell into a deep depression. It's definitely why I'm a road rager. However, there is so much to do! Lots of culture and neat places to check out. It's very "centrally located." Teehee.

I don't know that I have anything useful to add. I'm excited to see what you end up doing, though.

Come where the job opps are. You have a family away from family here in NorCal. At least you are in the same state as parentals. I want to watch Sashimi grow up....:-)

Just adding to the Southern Cali pros:
Closer to Santiago, but also to his little brother/sister coming in December! Surprise!
