Ipod Redux

You guys! Life with an ipod continues to amaze me! Man, it's so cool how you can hear parts of the songs you never even knew were there because you've never properly listened to them! WOW!

Also? I think the funniest person who sings is none other than anthony kiedis from the red hot chili peppers. Why is this guy so hilarious?

Dudes, my blog is not the same blog it used to be. So far in 2007, I just haven't had my moment to shine. Thanks for hanging in there folks. It'll come back around.

Dude

Did I already tell you how good it is to not be living out of a suitcase?

Last night, watched 24 and made a huge greek salad for dinner + went to the gym - with my ipod shuffle. That little guy changes everything. One of my coworkers called the shuffle the gateway drug into the world of ipod. He started with a shuffle, now he has an 80 gig. Haha, it's true.

Its cold here and I hope it snows. Just cuz I like the snow. According to NY1, we'd normally have 11 inches of snow by now, instead, we have 1. Wow, Al Gore.

Whats next for you all? Any thoughts on the fact that Jan is over tomorrow? How are your resolutions going? Still flossin on this end!

*PS, though I linked to the fancy tiny ipod (which Ang has) I only have the oldskool one without the clip. You get the idea though.

Monday, Monday!

Such a nice weekend. Saw a couple of cute/good movies. Saw Little Miss Sunshine which is heartwarming and nice, but certainly not a comedy in any Will Ferrell sense of the word. But it is nice and I liked it.

I also saw a movie called Millions which is really sweet and Britsh, so it takes me back to my days in England. LOL.

Also, since I got Babe a Nano for Christmas, I now have the use of an Ipod Shuffle. I can't even tell you how cool I feel. I mean seriously. Wow!

And, I finished re-reading East of Eden which is in fact one of the top five books ever written.

Off again, off again, Jiggity Jig

Today I'm heading out to our nation's capital, and in honor of this event, I wanted to share with you the picture that was all over the papers in London when I was there. It's Our President Bush. Crying.

Sorry to feature his face on my blog, but did you guys not see this story while I was gone? When I search on google images I can't find this picture, but if you go to the UK media it is prominently featured. I think he's finally lost it you guys. Crying? Give me a break!!!

Pubs & Museums

London has a lot of two things - pubs and museums. I spent time at both of these types of cultural institutions and learned aplenty.

The British Museum is really a beautiful building (see!) and is chock full of prizes and artifacts stolen from the various colonies that used to be under its rule. Wild.
Here is one that I particularly like that was taken from Easter Island.
And here's a picture of a pub, called the Nag's Head, which contained a different sort of relic all together. A "landlord" ran the place, instead of a bartender, and you didn't tip him, but instead, bought him a round.

Back from the UK!

Hi Everyone! I'm back from the UK! What a trip it was. I learned a lot, ate a lot of Jacket Potatoes & English Breakfasts, drank a lot of beer, and hung out with the Queen. Just kidding about that last one.

How are your new year's resolutions going? Mine are so far so good, if I mean by that that I just made them yesterday and that I flossed last night.

Anyways just a quick note to say hi. I am at work today trying to catch up before I head out to Washington DC on Wednesday. Weee!!

abcdefghijklmnopqrstuvwxyz

Thanks, BFF, for a brilliant idea to fashion a wee statement using the letters of the alphabet in sequence. Clever, little devil.

After being caught devouring english food, going home is joyous. I kinda loved meeting Niamh over posh quaff. Really silly to use very well xanax, you zealot. *

*Ha, I really felt like I had something going there for a minute, but it sorta fell apart in the end.
