Haiku UnFackingBoLievable Friday

Yesterday I learned
Sacagawea is not
Sacagawea.

The Golden Dollar
is really just some random
Indian lady.

Let's just pick random

people of the same ethnic

background. Close enough.

How about I enter a contest with this haiku?

Maybe not quite that bad:

"Originally, since there was no known portrait of Sacagawea, the committee that chose Sacagawea for the coin specified the figure as Liberty depicted as a Native American woman inspired by Sacagawea."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sacagawea_dollar

But who knows.

That is the only laugh I've had all day....Thank you, Caroline. I'll never look at coins the same way again.
